Safety is a team effort at Paraco Gas Corporation, and we are committed to acting and working safely. As a market leader, safety must become second nature for all of us on the job and at home. Our goal is to achieve world-class safety performance. In doing so, Paraco employs a full-time Safety Director.
Paraco reviews and strengthens our safety policies regularly. We also have established a number of safety-related teams and increased training throughout Paraco Gas. Extensive safety training is mandatory for all new employees at Paraco and courses are offered on an ongoing basis. Our in-house team of propane experts are members of the National Propane Gas Association and have many other professional affiliations. They complete courses on new techniques and advanced systems regularly.
The improvements to our safety policy center around the concept that injuries and accidents can be prevented and that people are the most critical element in any successful safety program. Every Paraco Gas employee is responsible for helping to prevent injuries and accidents. All levels of management are responsible for providing a safe work environment. Customer awareness and ongoing training programs help us operate safely in every community we serve.
For employees, fewer accidents mean a safer work environment and lower insurance rates. Lower insurance rates mean increased funding for training and safety programs. For customers, this funding allocation demonstrates a commitment to safety well above that of many competitors.
