Paraco Gas History

Paraco Gas History

Paraco is a family-owned and operated business started by Pat Armentano in 1968.

Growing from its early days as a welding and industrial gas supplier in the New York City area under the name Patsems, Inc., the company expanded through acquisitions and internal growth, eventually consolidating and focusing its business to become one of the largest propane energy marketing companies in the U.S.

The company is proud to have been led in its early days by such a visionary entrepreneur — and to be led today by his son, Joseph Armentano, as he ushers in a new era of Paraco innovation and service.

We continue to be guided by the values that Pat brought to the business and look forward to serving our customers in the years ahead.
